Shift is another favourite game of mine, because it makes you think laterally. You start walking around in the white space on the top of the black space. If you press SHIFT, the screen is reversed and you start walking in the black space on top of the white space. Confusing? just a little...

I/O
I/O is a puzzle that contains no instructions. You have to use logic, and gussing, to solve it. I had to burn a few neurons to solve it in 10 minutes. The first few minutes were agonizing until I figured out what was going on.

Portal: the flash version
The game Portal taht came with the Orange Box released for PC, XBox 360 and Playstation 3 has a Flash version. For those who haven´t heard about this great game, in Portal: the flash version, you have a tool that generates portals through which you can freely pass. This way you can reach unreacheable places or use gravity to give you a hand. Together with Manifold, this is one of the best game mechanichs released this year.

Manifold
Manifold is one of the most original games that have been released lately. You play a being that has an interesting gravity-manipulation device. You just have to throw your device into a wall and point the direction of the gravity. Later, you can collect your device by pressing the SPACE button with your mouse pointer on it.

Chat Noir
This a very difficult but addictive puzzle. Your aim is to trap the cat. It will not walk into dark circle. Every turn you darken a circle but the cat will walk into another one. You will have to start predicting the movements of the cat in order to get him. Each play is very fast but you won´t stop until you win the game.

Heroes: The Game - Mohinder's Office
UPDATE: I was informed that BBC will only allow people accessing their website from the UK can play the game. Has anyone any hints on how to play it anywhere else?
The BBC website has put a free online game based on Heroes. You start in Mohinder's office where you can find many things to read and explore. There are also games based on Isaac, Peter and Clare. There is also a history going on on the emails. Very Cool!

The age project is not exactly a game. The webpage shows you a picture of a person and you have to guess how old the person is. It is interesting to compare your guess with the actual person's age and the average guess. You can also upload your own picture.

Levers
Levers is an ingenious online game that is also very well-done. Your aim is simple: just balance the objects that are thrown to you. The physics engine is really impressive and the game gets really challenging in the end.
You can drop things back into the water as well as to interact with them.

Submachine 4

The games from the Submachine series are among the best Point and click games around. Submachine 4 is a huge step forward its predecessors and can be really challenging without being illogical. The design is also fantastic. If you loved 'Myst', this game is a must.
